schneider+groos filmproduktion Before funding her own company Ute Schneider, ex Managing Director of efdo - MEDIA's European Film Distribution Office - developed and produced for Wim Wender's Road Movies. She was responsible for the development and financing of Gurinder Chadhas "Bend it like Beckham", Carlos Sauras "Bunuel and King Solomon's Table", Ken Loach's "Navigators" as well as Laurent Bouhnik's "24 heures de la vie d'une femme". Together with line producer Christof Groos Ute Schneider produced for Road Movies/Reverse Angle Factory a slade of four low-budget feature films called "radical digital" for West-German pubcaster WDR and was German co-producer of Robinson Savary's international co-production "Bye-bye Black Bird". Christof Groos worked in the past as production manager and line producer ("Kismet") for several independent production companies as well as for the film department of Kunsthochschule für Medien/Media and Art School, Cologne. schneider + groos filmproduktion has since produced a slate of feature films and documentaries and was German co-producer of Golden Globe nominee "Everlasting Moments" by Swedish director Jan Troell. |
